Welcome!
The International Workshop on Software Architecture and Machine Learning (SAML) brings together researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of software architecture and modern ML techniques, including classical ML, LLMs, GenAI, and agentic AI. It covers both software architecture for machine learning (SA4ML) and machine learning for software architecture (ML4SA).
The 6th edition, SAML 2027 will be co-located with the IEEE International Conference on Software Architecture (ICSA) 2027 in Sydney, Australia, March 8-12, 2027. The exact SAML workshop date will be announced.
The 2027 theme is Software Architecture Meets Agentic AI. We especially welcome work on architecting agentic AI systems and using agentic AI to support software architecture practice, while continuing to welcome all forms of ML and their intersection with software architecture.
